Special rates for all IATEFL members

The International House Barcelona ELT Conference is aimed at teachers of English to adults, children and business students as well as language teaching managers, directors, and teacher trainers. All fully paid-up IATEFL members will be invited to attend the conference at special discounts and will receive an email with instructions and the promotional code they will need to use.

The Roving Reporter scholarship

We are delighted to offer a grant to an LTSIG member who wishes to be the ‘LTSIG Roving Reporter’ for our strand.

The grant winner will be expected to attend all five sessions of our strand and write articles on them for LTSIG publication. To help capture the feel of the strand, it is expected that five write-ups will be produced within a week of the conference and a short review (or video) of the strand will be produced during the conference.

The Roving Reporter scholarship provides quite a significant professional opportunity for our members; not only because the winner is subsidised for travel, accommodation and registration fees, but because the winner is challenged to contribute to the community at large by producing and creating content for our international teaching communities. Such contributions, by default, result in high visibility online, featured posts on our website, and the forging of new, tangible relationships with inspiring teachers around the world.

Active membership and inspired challenge can surely open doors for those of you who wish to truly avail of significant professional development opportunities with the LTSIG.
