Marisa Constantinides is a teacher, teacher educator, conference presenter and ELT author with long experience in ELT. She is the owner and Director of CELT
Athens, a Cambridge CELTA & Delta centre in Athens offering face-to-face and online courses and has designed materials, lessons and syllabuses for learners and teachers of English for numerous courses and purposes.Marisa is a learning technologies enthusiast, member of the LTSIG since 2009, and has been promoting a principled use of edtech and engaging her trainees and wider ELT community through social media since 2010 when she became the co-founder and moderator of #ELTchat, a hash-tagged weekly ELT discussion board on Twitter was shortlisted for an ELTons Award in 2012.She maintains a number of ELT blogs including TEFL Matters, her personal blog, and posts information and updates for the Learning Technologies SIG on a variety of social media platforms, including the LTSIG page on Facebook and on Twitter as @iatefl_ltsig.
Marisa has served on the executive board of TESOL Greece twice, as member and later as Vice Chair, and is very keen on serving the ELT community. Her new role as Community Manager for the IATEFL Learning Technologies SIG is one where she hopes to be able to help this SIG.
