The 3rd OLLReN annual online conference on research into using technology for language learning takes places on 4 October 2018. This is a jointly organised and hosted event by the Learning Technologies SIG, Laureate International Universities and Cambridge University Press. Last year’s slides and recordings are available here and there are some thumbnails from last year’s event below.
In this online event, researchers from around the world will share their work into investigating the impact of technology to support language learning. We will review the evidence of what happens when technology and language learners meet.
Proposals are for 20-minute presentation sessions (plus 5 minutes’ Q&A), to be held online in a virtual presentation room. Presenters will also be asked to submit a summary paper of their presentation to be included in this year’s conference book. Priority will be given to proposals which are based on primary research and explicitly address how the findings can be applied to classroom practice. Abstracts are expected to be well written and tightly focused. For guidance, please consult the abstract page in the genre section at UEFAP.
Deadline for submitting proposals: Monday 23 July at 17:00 GMT / 1800 BST. Word limit: 300
