Susana is a global educator with nearly 40 years of experience in the ELT field, focusing on digital pedagogy and collaborative online international learning (COIL) for the last 15 years. She holds an MA in Educational Technologies from Haifa University, where she conducted research on computer supported collaborative learning environments. She is currently a freelance educational consultant and coach, lecturer, and teacher trainer. She teaches courses on ICT in ELT and Didactics. Over the years she has led transformational processes among students and teachers alike as faculty coach (at the Digital Pedagogy Unit in a large teacher training college), PD facilitator (for distance, blended and hybrid learning), consultant for Internationalization Department in Higher Ed, designer of first virtual classroom for the teaching of English (pre- Co VID) in Israel, founder of collaborative online crosscultural project in a large school network, and English school teacher for about 30 years (mostly in High School). She has initiated and conducted numerous international virtual exchanges for authentic learning while promoting intercultural skills.
